Exclusive Interview With Star Actress Autumn Dawn On The Set Of Crowley’s Tomb

Delilah Encounters Evil Jester 3

Q- How did you get into acting?

When I was 7 I watched “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and at the time I wanted to slay Vampires and when I realized that wasn’t a reality I figured I could at least pretend to. So I decided to become an actress!

Q- Who are your favorite actors or actresses and who influenced you on your way to becoming an actress?

My favorite Actress is Sarah Michelle Gellar, I believe she influenced me by being Buffy, but she was also a great role model and never got out of hand and has always picked great roles and not gone for the obvious. My favorite actor is John Cusack, I believe he is so diverse in his roles as an actor.

Q-What other roles have you played before Crowley’s Tomb?

I played “Ember” in this short film called “The Elements” as part of a four group girl team who all had powers! Mine was fire. It was a couple of years ago but I enjoyed it. I have done a lot of PA work as well as stand in and photo double in Atlanta.

Q-Do you prefer to play villains or heroes? Why?

I think this would depend on the film. Sometimes Villains are so interesting and of course I always want the hero to come through in the end, but James Bond for example always has such amazing villans that you actually start to like. ( Jaws being the best)

Q- If you could be in any movie what would it be and why?

I think if this is based on character I would pick Sara Connor from the “Terminator” series. Her character goes from this mild, sweet, and innocent girl to a Strong, kick ass woman who no longer takes crap from anyone and saves the world. The character development is incredible.

Q- Where did you hear about the casting call for Crowley’s Tomb?

I heard about it on green room orlando casting.

Q- What interested you in being part of Crowley’s Tomb?

I think the description sounded really fun! I love a good scary movie and it made me want to be apart of it.

Q- Are you a horror fan?

Haha yes!! I think it’s my favorite genre of movies! I love being scared, when I know it’s not real!

Q- What character did you play in Crowley’s Tomb?

I played Deliah

Q- What can you tell us about your character?

She is a strong woman who hangs out with the cemetary boys to hopefully kick some ass.

Q- What were some of your favorite moments on the set of Crowley’s Tomb?

I love getting to know new people and everyone on set was very welcoming. I loved working with people who don’t mind if you have ideas to bring to the table and are good at giving direction.

Q- Tell us the differences in atmospheres between the cemetery and Shingle Creek Trail on set?

Well…The cemetery was creepy and when it got dark it was even creepier. It was the first day on set and getting to know people in that atmosphere was interesting. The Shingle Creek Trail was nice, even with all the hanging scary dolls and blood lol. There were a lot of runners and people walking through who probably thought we were a cult. It was super fun that day because everyone has already met and were a bit more comfortable.

Q- Do you have any ghost or paranormal activity stories to share with us today?

I honestly don’t. But ghosts really scare me and I never want to see one.

Q- What was it like working with an all star team such as Writer Casey Moore, Director Ricardo Protheus   Rodriquez, and Producer Nathan Taupez?

It was very professional and exciting. They all made us feel very comfortable on set and gave direction well!

Q- What horror movies impacted you growing up?

The Excorist was scary as heck to me when I was younger, but the movies that made me really like horror movies was the “Scream” series. I absolutely loved every single one of them!

Q- What current projects are you working on?

I am currently working on a “Star Trek” fan film that will be released in 2016.

Q- What actor or actress did you think stood out on the set of Crowley’s Tomb other than yourself?

Martigan Delano. He was very nice and came to work hard!

Q- If you could be any character in Crowley’s Tomb who would it be and why?

Deliah still of course because I believe she has depth to her that’s not showed in the trailer.

Q- Away from acting what are some of your hobbies?

I like to horseback ride when I can and I help run a convention company and I honestly like it so much I consider it a hobby sometimes. I also like to paint on occasion.

Q- What did you think after you saw the trailer of Crowley’s Tomb?

I was shocked by how amazing it was an how well put together it was!

Q- What would you like the fans to know about yourself?

I want to become an actress mainly because Buffy but What I loved the most about it was that I wanted to be her so much and I wanted to meet her and she (Sarah Michelle Gellar) supported so many charities and I want to be able to make a difference in someone’s life that not only do they want to meet me but they care about the world and the people in it and that if someone looks up to me I want them to feel like they are looking up to someone who cares about them and the work I do.
